New Tech School brings new skills to Whittlesea

About 10,500 students from 14 partner secondary schools in the City of Whittlesea will access the new Tech School, which is based at Melbourne Polytechnic's Epping campus. Whittlesea Secondary College student Corbin Jenkins is participating in an electronic music composition workshop with Tech School partner Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio.

Whittlesea student wins VCAL Achievement Award

Kayla O’Brien won a VCAL Achievement Award from the Victorian Government after demonstrating an excellent work ethic in the completion of her VET Hospitality Certificate II in Kitchen Operations, alongside her voluntary contributions to her community.

Whittlesea Secondary School is recognised in Design Awards

Maddison Architects were recognised as finalists in recent Design Awards for the new Junior School Building at Whittlesea Secondary College, completed in June 2017 for $2.55 million. This exciting new teaching and learning precinct gives the college five flexible general purpose classrooms, a science lab, graphics studio, outdoor learning decks and staff offices.

A doctor’s clinic will operate out of Whittlesea Secondary College one day a week to make it easier for students to access health services.
